About Trackzo

Trackzo is a personal budget tracking application designed for foreigners living in Japan. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Password	Authentication. Encrypted by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your plain-text password.

Receipt Images (Premium Feature)

If you use the AI Receipt Scanning feature, the photo of your receipt is sent to our server and then to Google’s Gemini AI to extract the amount, store name, and category. Receipt images are used only to perform the scan and to extract this information; we do not retain the image after the scan is complete. Only the extracted text (amount, place, category, date) is saved to your account, and only after you choose to add it.

How We Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Tokyo, Japan region — asia-northeast1).
Passwords are encrypted — we never see or store plain-text passwords.
All connections use HTTPS encryption.
Your data is tied to your unique account — only you can access it.

Data Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the trusted service providers below, solely to operate Trackzo:

International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily stored in Japan. However, some of our service providers (such as Google Gemini AI, RevenueCat, and Apple) may process data on servers located outside Japan, including in the United States. By using Trackzo, you consent to this processing.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app: go to the Account tab and tap Delete Account. This action is immediate and irreversible.
Alternatively, you can request deletion by emailing us at the address below.

Your Rights

Access — View all your data directly in the app.
Correct — Edit or delete your expenses, goals, and savings at any time.
Delete — Permanently remove your account and all data, in-app or by request.

Children’s Privacy

Trackzo is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
